Rules
The Northwest Cycling Club forum is open to anyone. However, you must register at the website home page in order to post. We ask that you follow these rules when posting to our community.
- Posts are to be made in the relevant forum.
- All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. No trolling.
- Posts may not contain or refer to content that is sexual in nature, pornographic, illegal, offensive, or profane,
- Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of a Moderator. Please use the “Report to moderator” feature to report posts. Do not respond to such topics yourself.
- Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.
- Members should use an appropriate, descriptive subject when posting a new topic. Example of bad subjects is "Help!".Examples of good subject is “Need help adjusting brakes”.
- Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance.
- The moderating team reserves the right to edit, remove or put on moderation queue any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, appropriate, etc. as noted in these points is up to the moderators.
- The moderating team reserves the right to close or move topics, move or delete posts, issue warnings, and generally enforce the forum rules.
- The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging.
